I am again saddened that one of the elders of our family is gone. The obit was
just sent to me. Below is what I have on his immediate family.

ROLAND WOODROW CADDELL, son of Alvin A. and Mattie Lonzora (Boozer) CADDEL, was
born (29 Jan 1918) and raised in Sanger, TX, and married at Frederick, OK where
he later lived. His wife is the daughter of V. Lawrence Standifer.

R.W. CADDELL
Funeral for R.W. Caddell, 84, Frederick, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at
Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Wyatt officiating.
Mr. Caddell died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 29, 1918 in Sanger, Texas to Alvin and Mattie Boozier
Caddell. He attended school at Weaver Consolidated No. 13 and Sunrise
Consolidated No. 6. He transferred to Frederick and graduated in 1936.
He married Elaine Standifer May 22, 1937 in Frederick. He was a lifelong
farmer, and a member First Baptist Church, Frederick.
Survivors include his wife of the home; Two daughters and sons-in-law,
Karen and Byron Allen, Garland, Texas; and Karee and John Roe, Dallas; a
son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Diana Caddell, Abilene, Texas; a
brother and sister-in-law, Bert and Ellie Caddell, Iowa Park, Texas; 10
grandchildren: Lynne Calender, Leanne Nelson, Debbie Eberhart, John
Lawrence Roe, Randy, Ronnie, and John Allen, Brian ,Brandon, and
Kimberly Caddell; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Alice Kniffin,
Iva Taylor, and Mazell Harlan; and two brothers: Ray and Homer Caddell.
Memorial contributions may be made the charity of the donor's choice.
