I have this information in my data:
book titled "The Heroes of San Jacinto".
On page 428 is an entry that says
Caddell, Andrew. Born in North Carolina; emigrated to Texas in 1834 with his
wife and eight children. Service Record No. 1265 shows that Andrew Caddell
enlisted March 15 and was discharged June 15, 1836. He was captain of a
company in the second regiment, third brigade, from August 18 to Nov. 15,
1836.
Captain Caddell died at his home in Bell county in October, 1869.
