Folks,
It saddens me to think that fellow Alabamans would have done something
like this. (Probably some o' them Dam Yankees that retired here...)
Of course, I can't help but wonder if these people ever saw the movie
Poltergeist.

I too live in Alab and did go out with cousins from one of John Calvin
Caddell's sisters that married into the Green family.
We found the
location of where the cemetery used to be. But there is nothing
there. The people that own the property had all the stones turned down
covered with plastic and then several feet of topsoil spread so it is now
their front yard and also a part of their drive way. We were so shocked
that they didn't even take photos of the stones!!
Anyway this is where supposedly Andrew and Jean are buried and John Calvin
and wife are buried. That is about all I know. There is likely some
references to old
cemeteries in some of the old funeral homes. Don't know. One time I
called the county sheriff to find a cemetery I was looking for outside
Tuscaloosa where the Doughty family are buried. Andrew Caddell married
Rhoda Doughty here in Alab and her parents and grandmother are buried in
Coker, AL. I did find their graves.
Sorry I can't really help more. I wish someone of us would eventually run
across a photo of the old graves or perhaps find an old timer that could
talk to us about it.

Earlene, I don't know if you know about our caddell list, but I am
forwarding your reply to them and you may want to join us in our search!! I,
like you, are very disappointed to hear that our ancestors are now below a
driveway! Thanks so much for writing me. More later, Ann (Caddell)
