"This family of Hendersons were descended from Alexander Henderson
M.A. Chaplain to King Charles I.
In 1766 George Henderson married Jean Buchanan. Their son John m.
Janet Couper and became a clockmaker, many of his timepieces exist today.
John Henderson's ninth son was Ebeneezer the Missionary who made
long visits to Iceland (b 1783, d 1858)
His nephew, also Ebeneezer was an astronomer and Antiquarian-he
latterly lived at Muckart and called his house "Astral Villa" (now
named "Holly Lodge".
His niece Thulia (Susannah) Henderson published two memoirs "Memoirs
of the Reverend E. Henderson" (1859) and "A memoir of the Late
Ebeneezer Henderson (1910). (Not in Bible but in listing of works by
Rev E Henderson is this note: "Thulia is the daughter of Rev Ebenezer
Henderson")
He wrote the annals of Dunfermline and other books."

27 Feb George Henderson and Jane Cunnan gave up their names in order
to marry thrice proclaimed no objection being made were married the
