1637 - Phillip CAUDELL resided in New Norfolk County, VA
1638 - Joseph CADELL immigrated to Maryland.
1652 - Ann CADELL resided in Washington County, VA
1656 - Anthony CAUDELL resided in Port Tobacco, Virginia.
1666 - 29 August, John CADDELL, Stafford County, VA,
certificates for land giving headrights, 1st part,
1st order book - to Henry Hudson for 40 persons,
including CADDELL.
1667 - October 12, Anthony CADLE of VA was the recipient
of a bond servant, Thomas Martine of Bristol for four
years.
1667 - October 15, Nathaniel CADLE of VA was the
recipient of a bond servant, Hugh Jones of Bristol for
four years.
1670 - September 27, Zachery CADLE from Bristol to
VA and was bound to Francis Holland for four
years by Society.
1700's
- John CATTELL was a Virginia Military District soldier.
1704 - Richard CODELL, rent rolls, 100 acres, Charles City
County, VA.
1720 - September 20, James CADELL, shipper from Bristol to
Virginia on the ship "Nevis Merchant" for John Pittman.
1723 - Ann CADLE, widow buried December 13 at All Hallow
Parish, Anne Arundel County, MD. It is noted that of
Maryland CADLE descendants stated to the author that
some of the CADDELL's changed their name to CADLE and
subsequently some changed back to CADDEL and CADDELL.
1726 - Anthony Ruly married Elizabeth CADLE on February 14,
17__, and James CADLE married Frances Ridgely on August
26, 1726, All Hallow Parish, Anne Arundel County, MD.
Also, James, son of Zachariah and Jane CADLE, was buried
on October 17, 1726 at All Hallow Parish.
1728 - James, son of Zachariah and Jane CADLE was born and
baptized on September 15, Anne Arundel County, MD.
1730 - August 7, James CADELL, shipper, from Bristol to
Barbados and Virginia on the ship "Chester" for John
King & Company.
1730 - Sarah, daughter of Thomas and Mary Henderson was born,
Prince George County, MD.
1731 - Frances, daughter of Thomas and Mary Henderson was born,
Prince George County, MD.
1750?- John CADDELL listed as Virginian in Revolutionary War.
- Elijah CADELL, Captain Thomas Buck's Company, Dunmore
County, VA, Revolutionary War veteran.
1751 - April 2, Andrew CADDLE witness land transaction,
John Tyre of Albermarle County, VA to John Williamson
of Spotsylvania County, VA, at £16 current for 100
acres in St George Parish, Spotsylvania County.
Witness: Robert Huddleston, William Mathews, Andrew
CADDLE, Edward Land.
1759 - Samuel CADDALL resided in Montgomery County,
Virginia, age 73 (born ca 1759), made petition for
pension, Revolutionary War, volunteered in 1780 with
Captain Paxton, 2nd Virginia Regiment, Rockbridge
County, VA, Captain Samuel Lasly, Colonel Haws,
commanding, continued until 1782, was at the seige of
"96." Verified by Court of Opinions, 8 August 1832.
Genealogy data on Revolution War soldiers by a Mrs.
Wards Stephens, Martinsville, Henry County, VA,
reported her ancestor, Samuel CADDALL came to America
when a child from Ireland and settled on what is now
McGavock's farm, near Dublin, Pulaski County, VA.
1761 - Stephen CADEL, with child, resided in Lunenburgh County,
Cumberland Parish, Virginia.
1771 - John CADDLE, Tithable List, Loudoun County, VA.
1777 - John CADELL was a Virginia Revolutionary Was soldier,
2nd Regiment, Continental line.
1777 - Elijah CADELL resided in Dunmore County, Virginia,
Captain Thomas Buck's Company.
1779 - 9 January, Jean CADDEL married Mathew Riddle,
Goochland County, VA.
1782/
1787 Samuel CADDEL resided in Rockbridge County, Virginia.
1792 - June 1, Montgomery, VA, Samuel CADDALL married Nancy
Cecil.
