EMMA ANNIE RHODA CADDEL, daughter of William James and Nancy Amanda
(Bright) CADDEL, was born (15 Nov 1857) in Navarro County, TX and
raised in Navarro and Bell Counties, TX. She later married there
and lived at Nolanville, TX. It was reported she had eight
children. She was still residing there during the 1930's.
WILLIAM JAMES CADDEL, son of Andrew and Rhoda (Doughty) CADDEL, was
born (14 May 1823) and raised in Tuscaloosa County, AL.
He later lived in San Augustine and Nacogdoches Counties, TX, where
he married. He then moved to Navarro County, TX where his first
wife died. His whereabouts is unknown after the 1860 census when he
lived in Navarro County until he was listed in the 1880 census of
Bell County, TX.
Andrew and Rhoda Doughty) CADDEL left Tuscaloosa Co., AL moving to Texas in the
spring 1834 to ZaValla's Colony, Mexican Municipality (Texas). The BURRIS family
may have migrated with them also.

There are several COCHRAN that married CADDELL(L) also.
My great grandmother - Elizabeth Caroline COCHRAN :b. 10 Jan 1850, AL :d. 18 Mar
1914, Rains Co., TX. She 1st m. a Mr. Miller 2nd m. Adam Lafayette CADDELL.

My husbands family came from a William Burris too. Where did your William Burris come
from? Ky or Tn is where our Burris line came from. Also the Nancy Cochran that I am
looking for is not in your line. Our Nancys maiden name was Cochran.
