In 1791 Samuel Caddell married Nancy
Ann Cecil, Samuel was born in Downpatrick
Co. Ireland on1759,
she was born 1771 Newbern, Pulaski Co. VA., they married in 1791 in Montgomery
Co. VA.
Their daughter Sarah C. married James Overstreet in 1824, in 1826, James O.
married Sarah's
sister Mary Caddell, that is the year my gr.gr. granddad was born. My question
is: did Sarah die
at childbirth of my gr.gr. and then marry Mary? Is there anyone on this web site
that has any information on this?
It would be greatly appreciated. I also noticed that the Caddell's had some ties
in Grayson CO. TX.,that is were my Granddad was born in 1873,is
it just a coincidence that the Caddell's and Overstreet's were both there,or is
there a tie?
Another thing, Nancy Ann's mothers name was Keziah Witten,
I had a gr. aunt who was named Keziah, not a very common name, and just makes me
wonder.
Trying to run all this down and tie it together is a never ending chore.
Thank you Jerrel D. Overstreet Llano, Texas
