Dale, Anita & all:
Dale, thanks for catching my slip. I have it correct in my database, but
when I pulled it up I got the wrong one to reference.
I referenced:
> Special Note: Lewis Green CADDEL's (above) wife Mary
> Elizabeth Phillips was b. 3 May 1854, Pontotoc Co., MS.
It should be:
"Lewis Green CADDEL Jr.'s (son of Mahershallal Hasbaz CADDEL above)
wife Mary Elizabeth Phillips was b. 3 May 1854, Pontotoc Co., MS.
That's what happens when you get "older" :)).

Hi Bill,
Happy Birthday to you also. I was 55 Thursday. I noticed an error in your listing about
the wife of Lewis Green Caddel. You have Mary Elizabeth Phillips married to the wrong
Lewis Green Caddel. She married my great great grandfather, Lewis Green Caddel, son of
Mahershallalhashbaz (M.B.), born on 1855, not his uncle Lewis Green Caddel, born on Sep
7, 1824. This one married Nancy 'Polly' Tidmore Jan 11, 1844. This Lewis Green
Caddel
died March 30, 1905. His nephew, my great grandfather, died Sep 10, 1955. Both are
buried in Belew Cemetery, Aubrey Texas. I have pictures of both their headstones. Hope
you are having a great birthday. I am following your research into the early Andrew
Caddell very closely. Thank you so much for the fine effort. I wonder what caused the
mass migration. Did the land wear out or what would cause a number of families to pull
up stakes and move?
Regards,
Dale
