Hi list,
Thought since i had found this in some old notes from 1992 that I would
post for anyone who might be interested. I looked back through my e-mail
and found no posts from this list for the past couple of months. Don't

The Book: Old Northwest Texas, Vol. 1-A, Navarro County, Texas 1849-1860:
by Samuels and Knox......Page 104..........

road from Chatsfields Springs to The "Edge of the timber on the south side
of Chambers Creek" in the direction of Corsicana in August 1848: John
Hamilton, overseer with 27 hands including LEWIS and TILFORD CADDELL.
