Andrew,
I recently found "Brigend of Watten" on an old map at
"http://www.old-maps.co.uk" in Caithness, Watten Parish. BUT the 1800s
map still showed CALDER as the place names names in the area, i.e., Loch
CALDER, etc. There has been few Andrew CADDELLs in Scotland, but have
located this one. This would have been during the time period the
CAMPBELL changed the reference of CADDELL to CALDER.
I previously had the following records from the Scottish Chronicles, but
I have not had anyone that knew where it was located. I had suspected
that it was by Loch Watten in Caithness, but had no proof.
