Elaine, you mean this snip? ** below
1 Sarah Cable #7011 b. ~1811 d. Mar 26 1879
m. ~1836 David Fyock #7010 b. Mar 26 1813 d. May 26 1879
I suppose I was wondering to myself what would put a period on
the lives of a
man and woman in their what, 70s?, but it could have been the
flu, etc. What
really got me, you could say, was Sarah died on David's
birthday, which I
found to be a bummer.
Have deleted my question to myself, now that you have called
my atten to
MARCH not being the same as MAY -- I was prob. confusing
myself due to her
dying on his birthday ....
THAT -- the dates on DAVID FYOCK -- came from Vernon Cook:

As to the MARRIAGES of Savannah, "marriages" might not be the
word to use, I
agree, but unfortunately, BK5.0 doesn't have a slot for
courtcases on
paternity. Hey, limitations in the software, what can I say?
IN the appended NOTES on this thing I sent in, which I sent
without the
notes, the issue of marriages is clarified with the mention of
the bastardy
suits.

Indiana County, PA, Court Case, September Quarter Session,

Savannah Bartlebaugh, Prosecutrix
Settlement filed. (I'll let you know if it shows up when I
have time to go
through the files)
Indiana County, PA, Court Case, March Quarter Session, 1885
Commonwealth vs Henry Bartlebaugh, Fornication and Bastardy
Savannah Bartlebaugh, Prosecutrix
Also settled out of court. (I should have time to look next
week.)

Hi again, I see all those names in and out of the family.
Some on
lawsuits. Once the judge was a Fyock on a Replogle vs
Bartlebaugh-- is
was Mary Ann's father vs her husband -- land dispute I think.
Since most children in the family thought Matilda Fay Fyock
Fry was their
grandmotheras Mary Ann had died has sent me off on the wrong
track but
not far sinceMatilda and Mary Ann were first cousins.
**So when I saw on the e-mail thequestion about the death of
David and Sarah
Fyock date of death but I see a difference in your info of
Mar and May.
Is that a typo or did both die in the same month and same day.
It makes a difference on who to look for as the family burned
out but I doubt
it happened with that late date.
On Savannah, we don't know if she married the Cameron but
Birtha did use
the name and I know she didn't marry her first cousin Henry
Bartlebaugh and
went to the marriage with David Strassler when their first boy
was a year
old.

But as I say, I did sort out, **I think** the connections
tween STADTMILLER,
and FYOCK, and the BARTLEBAUGH was a side trip for me, to make
sure I was
dealing with two separate women,

m1. 1890 JAMES MADISON BARTLEBAUGH #7201 b. Feb 04,

m2. Jan 2 1866 Joshua C Fry #10897 [3 children] b. Jun

and
2 MARGARET ANN FYOCK #2245 b. Jul 18 1850 d. Apr 6 1904
m1 1867 MARTIN STADTMILLER #2231 b. Mar 6 1846 d. Jan 11

m2. 1880 Albert Allen #2246 [DOB speculative] b. ~1850 d.

ANYway, I found Savannah's history as shown in the archives if
PAINDIAN-L to
be fascinating, even if she was apparently a very exasperating
woman for kith
and kin.
