I don't know how this person connects to the Casper CABLE line but most
likely she is. Perhaps someone could post it to the list? >>
_____________
In the 1850 USC IL Hardin Co. there is a Lydia CABLE, age 45, TN (= b.
c1805), and John CABLE, 12. listed in the family of Alfred SMOCK, 40, in
addition to his wife, Sarah (Wilkerson), and children. Who is Lydia? My
interest was heightened when the name Casper CABLE was mentioned. It seems
that there was a Casper SMOCK, probably a brother of Albert SMOCK, but
unproved. The SMOCK family came out of PA to KY and then on to IL. CABLE
surname appears in IL in 1850 apparently from TN as stated.
Eula Ann CABLE, b. 1841 TN, died a widow, but of whom? Who was Casper CABLE?
Is there a connection?
Best regards,
Hugh
