Hi:
Thanks for the Cable genealogy you sent. There was a Michael Cable on the
list who died in 1819. Do you have anything else on him. I wonder if he had
a son named Michael too?
There was a Michael Cable who was born in PA 10/13/1816 and eventually
settled in Randolph County, MO. I believe he married Margret _____ of
Hamilton County, Ohio the first time and we believe was Able Cable's parents.
Is there any way we can prove this? In the 1880 census, he had another
wife (20 years younger than he). He died 9/15/1887 and is buried in Old
Highbee Cemetery in Randolph County. My husband's great grandfather was Able
Cable who was born in (PA??) in 1847. He and his wife Catherine Trussell
(born in Rensselar, Indiana ?? in approx. 1849-56) also came to Randolph
County. We have a note in some of our family records that he married
Catherine Cross 6/20/1830. Did Michael Cable have three wives?
If you could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.
Christine Cable
