1. Let me correct a spelling mistake on my last input regarding Jonathan
Cable's wife's name. The correct spelling is Susanna Stahl.
2. Thank you so much for that cemetery listing. Where it differed from
my list, I assumed the cemetery data would be correct and I have
adjusted my list.
I do have some additional data in my compilation about these people.
Charles Cable. I have a middle initial for him, H.
Who are D C Cable? Who are SJ & A Cable? If you would give me some
dates, I may be able to find them on my list. So far, no luck.
A correction: Franklin P. Cable was the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth
Cable.
For the first listed Godfrey, I have 4/4/1807 for his birthdate.
Nicholas: Your dates differ, which is interesting since he is an uncle
of Robert L. Cable, who did the compilation that I'm working with. He
also spelled it Nicklas.
The middle name Ellsworth is the second
occurence in the Cable family that I'm aware of. Nicholas' father James
Monroe and my grandfather Norman Ellsworth were brothers. It would be
an easy guess that Nicholas got his Ellsworth from his uncle. Can anyone
help me on where my grandpa got it?
Re: Benjamin as a Rev War vet. He is referenced in the DAR Patriot
Index, Vol. II, pg. 32.
