Hi, I am brand new to the LIST.
Searching for info re: Henry Cable and his wife, Pamelia or Permella found in the 1830 US
CEN of Pequannock, Morris Co., NJ along w/ their two daughters, Ann Eliza and Pamelia.
Dau, Ann Eliza marr Theodore J. Werts and dau, Pamelia marr a Chas C. Grey and they
migrated, with children, to Lee Co., Iowa ( 2 W., Keokuk) in the late 1850s. Both dau
were believed to have resided for a short time in the Cincinnati (Hamilton Co.) Ohio area,
sometime in the 1840's.
It is believed that Henry Cable was b. in abt 1795 in NJ and d. and was bur in Parsippany,
NJ in 1835.
His wife, Pamelia OR Permella was found later in the 1850 US CEN of Hanover, Morris Co.,NJ
residing with the wife and fam of Dr. Stephen Fairchild. She was also b. in NJ in abt 1802
and d. in 1853. Both bur in a Parsippany Cem located off of NJ Rte. #6.
They also had a son, named, William H. Cable, b. in NJ (prob Morris Co.) in abt. 1831-32.
He was res in NJ until the early 1850s when he moved to Brooklyn (Kings) NY. He marr
Emeline ???, (b. in NY in 1834), sometime in the early 1850s; date and place of marr are
unkn. (Prob 1855). Some of their children included Henry Cable, b. NY in abt 1856; John
Cable, b NY in abt 1858 and Frank Cable, b. NY in abt 1860. There prob were additional,
unkn., children born into this Brooklyn fam. The father, William H. was a Carpenter by
trade.
The parents, William H. and Emeline, remained in Brooklyn until their deaths in abt 1908
and 1912,
respectively.
Any info relative to anyone in this NJ Cable line would be greatly appreciated.
