Henry CABLE b. Mar. 1845 Somerset Co., PA., Died 20 Nov. 1903 in Ashton, Lee Co., IL.
Buried in Ashton cemetery. Married Mary Jane Davison. She is buried in Chapel Hill
cemetery, Dixon, Lee Co., IL.
Joseph CABLE b. about 1846 Somerset Co., PA. married Caroline S. GIBLER abt. 1868 and
lived in Pine Rock Twp., Ogle Co., IL. in 1870 with their dtr. Emma, age 1, b. abt. 1869.
Caroline GIBLER was the dtr. of George and Mary GIBLER, also from Somerset Co., PA.
Joseph and Caroline CABLE were not found on the 1880 census. Joseph CABLE is buried in
Ashton cemetery, Lee Co., IL. near Henry CABLE. They both have military markers since they
were in the Civil War when they were still living in Pennsylvania.
Amy J. CABLE (probably Emma) age 11, b. IL., was found with her grandparents George GIBLER
age 56, farmer b. PA., Parents: PA., and Mary A. GIBLER age 48 b. PA., Parents: PA. in
1880 Arion, Cloud Co., KANSAS.
George and Mary Gibler are buried in Morrison cemetery, rural Cloud Co., KS. There is no
stone for either of them but records show George 03-25-1902 (71
yrs. b. PA. <1831>) and Mary 08-09-1902. (Information received from lookup volunteer
for Cloud Co., Kansas.)
He also found a marriage record in Cloud Co., KS. for a John GREEN 29 and a Catherine A.
GIBLER 16, who could be the another dtr. of George and Mary GIBLER. There is a dtr.
Catherine GIBLER, age 12 on the 1870 census for Pine Rock Twp., Ogle Co., IL. with George
and Mary GIBLER.

John W. Green age 35, b. Rhode Island
Catherine age 22, b. PA.
dtr: Nettie age 4, b. Kansas
dtr. Clarissa age 1.
Then there is an Ida age 16 b. PA. <1864> married to an Alex MORRIS age 28
<1852> PA. with dtr. Mary A. 6 mos. (Dec.) b. KS. in Arion Twp., Cloud Co., KS. in
1880 who could also be the dtr. of George and Mary A. GIBLER. They had a dtr. Ida age 6
with them in Ogle Co., IL. in 1870.
