"Abraham (Cable) was listed on the 1800 Berlin, PA roster of citizens of
the 1800 Census, as being part 45 years old. He was commissioned
Justice of the Peace as the signers requested, Nov. 23, 1771, and served
that position until his death, except for his war years as he served in
the Revolution under General George Washington. His records will
follow, in the Cockley notes. Following is the family as far as we can
search out the names:
Barbara, married a Beisel; Benjamin, Jacob, Salome, married a Neal.
Abraham's children:
Sarah, born 1755, married Christian Blough, died 1827;
Benjamin, died 1798
Jonathan, born 1782, married Elizabeth Crise, of Maryland, died 1801;
Christian, born March 1, 1766, died Dec. 13, 1828;
Benjamin's children: Abraham (had a daughter, Hannah, married Danile
Bower), Rachel, Elizabeth, married Godfrey Stall, Heston, married George
Hopple (Heipple); Sarah,
Sussana, Rossana, Mary."
