As was briefly mentioned in The Journal last week Mrs. Mary
Kridner passed
away May 27 at 8:15 o'clock in the morning, aged 63 years, 11

breakdown. Funeral services were held Friday morning at 9:00
o'clock from

get into the church. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mary Ellen Lynch was born in Hudson to Michael and Ellen Lynch
on June
3, 1860 , and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles
Roberts, May
27, 1924. She was married in St. Mary's church in this city to

They are

26, 1914.
Deceased is also survived by two brothers, Thomas of this
vicinity and

May 22 and
had just gone home the day before she passed away. Mrs.
Kridner also leaves
twelve grandchildren. The subject of this sketch was a woman

was always
doing pleasant things for people with whom she came in

I have a book about the Cades Cove Cables---would it be possible to scan and
send that info over the Cable list? I'm busy working every day and can't do
it until the weekend but the family is Peter and Dan Cable (time June 1825)
they purchased the land from Jabez Thurman---by 1839 Samuel Cable moved
there with his brothers. Peter sold his land to his "son-in-law" Daniel B.
Lawson a month before his death. It mentions a brother of Peter's named
Benjamin---Pictured is Aunt Becky Cable in 1936--she is the dau. of James V.
Cable--his father was John P Cable--his father Benjamin Cable.---Danile B.
(Bird) Lawson's son Dan Lawson wife was Mary Jane Cable--Dan worked for
Peter Cable and married his dau. Mary Jane ---in 1850. There is a Cable
grave yard in Cades Cove---by an old church--beautiful place.
