I do not have all this documented, but at least it should give you
clues. Many of these early lineages you can find on the Cable
archives. Perhaps someone else researching Cables can document for
sure where Thomas Jefferson belongs.

Hello Rosemary,
I am new to this List stuff, maybe you can help me.
My grandfather Thomas Jefferson Cable was born in Jamestown, PA in 1853, his
father was Albert Cable, b in NY. I am searching for information on Albert.
Do you have either of these Cable's in your line?
Thanks, Alice Heisel

Hi Cable Researchers:
Just a reminder that you can read the archived messages that
have
already been sent through this list by going to the following URL.
It will ask you for a user name and password. The first time you search
the archives, you must enter this information by creating an account.
Just type in what you want your name and password to be, and hit enter.
(I save my passwords in a special file in my mail folder, so I can
remember what they are.) You can search our list, or any other lists.

Hi Cable Listers:
I recently found that a person could put up a web page on free
pages on Rootsweb.com. I am trying to make one up for another branch of
my research - the Dick family of Indiana Co., PA.
Would any of you like to make one up for the Cable family? I am not
an expert at HTML, but I have the idea. For the other page I was
thinking of putting up a outline of my family tree, the early years, and
adding info. I found doing my research, like biographies from County
books, obits, URL.s of others researching the same families, etc.
Is there a page already like this one anywhere? I never came across
it. Would any one be interested in starting one? Perhaps we can all
contribute some info.
What do you think?
