18th Century: skinners, leather workers, tanners, glovers, shoemakers.
Later 18th Century: cotton & muslin Handloom weavers, bonnet
Then at the turn of the century, carpet weavers, drawboys, tear boys,
As the 19th Century got underway, textile industry jobs like pirn
loom weaver, sewer, engine keeper etc..
Mid-19th Century, together with construction jobs (masons, joiners,
roofers &c) a
bunch of engineering occupations, wrights, machinists, etc, many connected
to locomotive manufacture, mining, and ancillary enterprises. Throughout
this period, coal miners.
