Ahaz, as you probably know was the 11th king of Judah. A search on the
online IGI provides details of a few people with Ahaz as a surname including
a strange reference to a 'Maria Mrs Ahaz' of the Netherlands in 1699
(probably a first rather than a last name). Better details are given of
Johann Adam Ahaz from 1795 on, also in the Netherlands. Another Johann Ahaz
(possibly an alternative for Achaz, for which there are many more results in
this area) married in the Wuerttemberg area of German in 1734. These may be
worth checking further.

In the late Linda Lawhon's Boyd family from Iredell Co., NC she had this

I can only assume that there were more more children then those three
listed by her coment they "had many children". I know that there are
cousins to her on htis list but I can't remember if they are from this
branch or from other branches.
You would need at least the grandchildren of this Aaron Boyd to see if it
may link to your Robert Ahaz Boyd. So this may be one line of inquiry for
you and where other members of the list can help you with this missing
