A bit of administrivia:
For those that filter Boyd list mail to a file, it had been suggested, with the change to
MailMan software by Rootsweb, that the X diagnostic lines may be the most helpful and
unchanging item to filter on. Check your email client's options to see if this will
work for you.
Any of the following could be used:
A wee reminder..... the inclusion of -L is no longer required or desired in the address to
send mail to the lists at Rootsweb.com
. Many subscribers have joined since the change in
software by Rootsweb and the elimination of the -L in the address to post. Some have
their filters set to seek Boyd(a)rootsweb.com and when a post comes through to
Boyd-L(a)rootsweb.com it fouls things up for them.
Please check and update your address books for the list addresses you use at Rootsweb.com
Remove the -L and watch the address window for those that autofill or when responding to
another's post, to ensure the -L gets removed. When we BETA tested the MailMan
software, we were told that the -L addresses will work for a limited amount of time. They
will be removing the ability for the -L addresses to be use at some point in the future as
it will help to cut down on the spam that is generated to Rootsweb.
