Chester County, South Carolina was formed in 1785.
The 1830 census for Chester District shows:
Males Under 5 5/10 30/40 Females
Under 5 5/10 20/30
Robert Magill 1 1 1
1 1 1
Unfortunately the 1830 census does not show the country of origin.

Perhaps some of the members of the list can help me.
I have an Magill family who descend from the Boyd family of Ballygarvey,
Broughshane and only about 4 kms from Ballymena who went to Fishing Creek,
SC in 1823 and 1843
However, I am not sure if in that time it was in Chester County, or
County - or some other County.
Can someone help with that please, so I can try to link it to the "right"
