the purpose of discussion on the net list please?
I ASSUME that you are basing this on the naming pattern. This is a valid discussion and
may help to make a possible connection to Boyd families in pre 1761 in America.

I will send you Dr. Louis Johnson's complete Ansearching News article off line since
it is too large to post here.
This article is the only evidence I have seen listing George Boyd as William Boyd (1761)
father. In my limited correspondence with Dr. Louis Johnson, he never offered proof as to
Williams father being George. That is why I believe Williams father was probable John
since William named his first born son John.
