Please pass this on to our Boyd list.
We're very excited to host the House of Boyd tent and the Stone Mountain
Highland Games this year. My family is of Scottish decent via several
lines. I am a Boyd on my father's side, and Ferguson on my mother's side.
My sister married into the Douglas clan. We have quite an interesting
group visiting our clan tent, including our own bagpiper! Several groups of
people feel free to leave their coolers and picnic spreads at our tent, so
we usually have an array of goodies ranging from meats and cheeses to
homemade fudge and shortbread. We're pleased to have family members
available to share geneological information, and have a list of related
clans. I expect our tent to be located next to the Stewart tent, and hope
other interested Boyds and relatives of Boyds will find us. Its always
great to meet "cousins."
