Here are some names that are tied to the John Bowles Will 1664 in Elizabeth
City Colony in Virginia. We have two John Bowes, one born about 1611 and the
other born 1615. Also Katherin Bowes born 1615. All these people were in
their 20's except Richard Smith who was born in 1600. There was a Richard
Bowles who died 1669 in Norfolk Co, VA, and a Thomas Bowles who died 1673 in
Accomack Co, VA that were related to John Bowles who died 1664. They were
not his sons because he never mention them in his Will in 1664. John Bowles
who died 1664 had two sons that I know of; John who was mention in his will
and Edward born 1598, who died 1659 before him. Edward had two sons that I
know of, maybe three; William who was mention in his will and Christopher
born 1620, who died before him. Simon Bowles and Elizabeth Bowles were
listed as servants to Edward Bowles in 1650. Rebecca Bowles married James
Tyre. Elizabeth Bowles married Nicholas Young. Elizabeth Young claims James
and Rebecca Tyre children as her grandchildren. John Bowles, son of John
Bowles who died 1664, died 1675 leaving James Tyre land. William, son of
Edward calls James Tyre kinsman, and John Bowles his uncle.
NOTE: This takes you up to 1675. Who is the John Bowes born abt. 1611? Were
John and Katherin twins?
