Dear Ann & all Bowles seekers
just a suggestion. Try looking up alternative spellings. the IGI have
separate sections for BOWLES and BOWELS/BOWLS. Yes, you may have BOWELS
among your ancestors! Well I've got a bunch of Carrots, so who am I to
In Dover there are a few. Richard BOWLS m. Elizabeth AMOSS on 8 Nov. 1819. A
Richard married Sarah WOOD on Dec 25 1808. There are one or two others. Also
quite few Henrys. I only looked in Kent, as I'm not really looking for
Bowles, only as they relate to the WEBBER clan.. But I had come across
Bowles before and just wondered.
My BOWLES are
Bertha Annie BOWELS = William Edmund WEBBER 2 May 1896 in Kariega.
Henrietta Elizabeth BOWLES = Amos Charles WEBBER in Kariega 22 Dec 1886
Anyone have connections or knowledge?
