that Mr John Coutanceau made his right appeare to
200 acres of land for the transportation of fower

P186 1114 21 June 1699 Morris Bowle,
servant to Thomas Dameron, being brought to this
Court to be adjudged, is by the Court adjudged to
be nineteene yeares of age and ordered he serve
his said Master or his assignes according to Law.

P224 1343 16 July 1707 Solomon Bowles,
petitioning this Court that he hath served Doctor
William Harcum his full time according to Law and
that the sd Harcum, notwithstanding refuses to
pay his Corne & Cloathes as ye Law directs, Its
therefore ordered the sheriffe summon the sd
Harcum to the next Court to answer the said

P224 1345 20 Aug. 1707 Solomon Bowles,
petitioning this Court agt Doctr Wm Harcum for
his freedom & Corne & Cloathes accustomed by Law,
and it appeareing to this Court that the sd
Bowles hath served his full terme to the sd
Harcum, Its therefore ordered that he be free
and Judgmt granted the sd Bowles aft ye sd Harcum
for his Corne & Cloathes by Law accustomed &
ordered the sd Harcum pay the same unto the sd

P307 1902 12 Sept 1763 It is ordered that
John Payne, a servant man belonging to Richard
Bowes, serve his said Master after his former
time of service is expired until he make
satisfaction for the sum of seventeen pounds
thirteen shillings and six pence Currt money of
Virga which the sd Bowes mad oath that he had
expended in Taking him up when Run away etc. as
also for Ninety one days absence according to
Law, and that the sd John Payne receive Twenty
Lashes on his bare back well laid on. OB
