I am trying to trace the birth of John Reames and ascertain the names of his
John Reames was born in The Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, probably
between 1720 and 1730. He married someone called Mary, probably in the mid
to late 1740's. They had a son, John, Born in Staverton, Gloucestershire, in
1748 and another son, Thomas, born in Staverton, Gloucestershire, in 1750.
There was a daughter, Elizabeth, born in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire, in
1757. I believe they also had a son, Edward, but no more details on him yet.
I have discovered a lot more members of the Reames family in Corse,
Gloucestershire, in the 1600's and early 1700's and am sure my John Reames
links back to these. By the way, the spelling varies quite a bit, e.g.
Reymes, Reimes, Reams, etc.
Any help will be much appreciated and, of course, I would be interested to
hear from anyone else researching the Reames family in any part of England
Best wishes to you all.
