Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Good Morning All,
I have been guided towards, and discovered a new website which may be of interest to those who have hit brick walls - and haven't we all!
Have you thought about nonconformist records. I had but didn't know of the following website:
Perhaps you all did know of it, but I didn't.
Searching the site is free, but if you find an entry that might be of interest, you have to buy credits to look at either a transcript or an image of the entry. Once you have viewed the page, however, you can view it again free for thirty days.
Perhaps you all knew about it, but I didn't, and would bet that there are others that might find it useful.
Just be aware that, the text boxes seem to occasionally have a space already in them, which can mess up logging in or entering search terms!
Good luck with your searching,
Yesterday was D Day 70 years ago since the Normandy landings, many died.
Have a look at this website, it gives quite a lot of information, it does
not cover all places, but worth looking at.
