Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Thanks ever so much for trying, looks like its going to be fun getting on
that familytreeforum.com website!
As far as screen readers are concerned, I've used Jaws for the past year or
so, but prior to that, as far back as 1993, I was using Hal.
I frequently use Ancestry, Findmypast, familysearch.org and have had great
success on the 1911 Census. The Google search engine has quite often helped
me to find some relevant and interesting info, but Google is only my
preference, any search engine should help in that regard.
Thanks again for trying to help, kindest regards,
New Website Under Construction:
I have just tried registering on familytreeforum.com but have encountered the verification image problem. There was a contact us link so I tried to send them a message to ask for help in registering as I can't see the image and the audio verification is nothing more than a joke for someone with good hearing, for someone like me with a partial hearing loss as well it's completely impossible. However, before you can send them a message, guess what you have to type in? Yep, the verification code!
Are there any sighted membres on here who use family tree forum who could send a message regarding this problem for me please? If so, would you be so kind as to include my Email address so that they can contact me directly please?
Very many thanks, in anticipation,
