Hi. I'm new to this list and just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is
Amy Murphy-DeMeo and I live in Florida USA. I am researching the surname
DWYER. I have seen an 1851 census which states that a DWYER family was
residing at 16 Goshen St., Bedwellty. I am hoping to find this family on
the 1861 or 71 census also. Does anyone know if these have been indexed?
I'm not familiar with this area of Wales, so I don't know yet what is
available. This family was Irish Catholic.
Just incase anyone is looking for these family names, there was also a
PURCELL, KEEFE, and WELSH listed at this address, also from Ireland.
Any help, advice, or guidance in researching this family in this area would
be most helpful and appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Amy

George. 39. born Clandown, Somerset
Elizabeth, 33, born ' "
Mary Ann, 14, Prudence, 9, Hannah, 6, Thomas 3, Ann and Wm. J., 1 year old,
all born in Abertillery.
There was no Martha, she would have been 18, was she married by then, if so,
give me her married name and I'll try to find her. This is the only Plummer
family in the index.

Dot
