Hi Dot,
Very many thanks for the information. Martha was not married to my
ggrandfather in 1881, at least as far as I can tell, as Joseph Cooper, my
ggrandfather was single and living in Westbury on Severn in 1881 (I think).
So here whereabouts in 1881 are a mystery. The link with George and
Elizabeth Plummer looks good as I know that Martha was born in Abertillery
but Elizabeth would have been 15 when she gave birth to Martha?!

George. 39. born Clandown, Somerset
Elizabeth, 33, born ' "
Mary Ann, 14, Prudence, 9, Hannah, 6, Thomas 3, Ann and Wm. J., 1 year old,
all born in Abertillery.
There was no Martha, she would have been 18, was she married by then, if
so,
give me her married name and I'll try to find her. This is the only Plummer
family in the index.
Regards,
Dot
