did. I just obtained a death certificate for his wife Jane Parry
Cook.
It noted that she also was born in Wales but no more specific location.
Now my question. The handwriting on the death certificate is hard to
read but it looks like Jane's mother's name is Jaur Bourn. Are these
likely to be Welsh names? Any observations and thoughts would be
welcome.
I know that some handwriting for 'n' can look like a 'u' so I
would
hazard that her name was Jane as well and how about Bown for the family
name?? Can you get any clues from comparing with known letters from any
of the other columns on the cert??

from GRO and hope they can find my rellies - cos I can't.
