Hi Meriel,
One possibility for Jaur Bourn would be Jane Bowen. Bourn is not a
particularly 'Welsh' name, however, there were an awful lot of English
that moved into Wales with the Ind.Rev.
Good luck

I know that some handwriting for 'n' can look like a 'u' so I would
hazard that her name was Jane as well and how about Bown for the family
name?? Can you get any clues from comparing with known letters from any
of the other columns on the cert??
Meriel
(Who has just bitten the bullet and spent £66 on 6 (yes 6!) certificates
from GRO and hope they can find my rellies - cos I can't.
