Hi! I don't have any information for you re: the DWYER family. What caught
my eye was your name. My aunt married a Joseph MURPHY in Pueblo, CO circa
1918. His family was from Joliet, Ill. My husband's sister married Mike
DeMeo sometime in the 1940's. They lived in Long Island, New York. Since
you are interested in genealogy, I thought that I would see if you might be
interested in either of those families.
My interest in Monmouthshire has to do with my grandfather, John Alfred
MARSDEN
Sheila Marsden Bickerton

<< Hi. I'm new to this list and just thought I'd introduce myself. My
name is
Amy Murphy-DeMeo and I live in Florida USA. I am researching the
surname
DWYER. I have seen an 1851 census which states that a DWYER family
was
residing at 16 Goshen St., Bedwellty. I am hoping to find this family
on
the 1861 or 71 census also. Does anyone know if these have been
indexed?
I'm not familiar with this area of Wales, so I don't know yet what is
available. This family was Irish Catholic.
