Thomas,
I have no idea if the WILLIAMS family are connected. I only have the name of
Jane Williams and that of her father, Henry to go on. Jane was born around
1827, judging by census returns.

Was your family associated with the strongly independent Ebenezer chapel,
headed by the Prophet of Pontypool, Edmund JOnes? I have several
connections with that chapel and Pontnewynydd, including families of Jayne
and Williams.
My wife and I visited the chapel for one of its evening services a year
ago, and I am sorry to say, that although those few present were
enthusiastic, I am worried that its survival is in jeopardy. What a warm
reception we received!
