Each year for the past four years, the Salt Lake Institute of genealogy has
done a number of classes in January. This year the British course is on Welsh
research. Bert Rawlins will be the teacher. He's an accredited genealogist
on Wales. Some of the classes scheduled are in the Welsh language and family
history research: What you need to know? Welsh Patronymics. The use of
Welsh maps and gazetteers. Welsh research on the internet. The Welsh in
America. Welsh probate. Welsh monumental inscriptions, etc. Estate and tax
records. This course costs $275.00 and will be scheduled 18-22 January 1999
in Salt Lake City, right next door to the largest family history library in
the world IF THEY HAVE FOUR MORE PEOPLE IN THE CLASS! They have to have 15
