Hi again Barrie --
Ooooohhhh, now I know how Tantalus felt! I've tried to open the files but can't,
and I'm so eager to get at them I'm going nuts. They're JUST beyond my reach
in cyber-land!
The file(s) came incorporated into the body of your e-mail message, not as separate
attachments that could be opened by Access or anything else I've got installed (and
both my computers are pretty loaded with programs). Within the e-mail message the data
looked like alphabet soup or straight machine code, as undecipherable by me as cuneiform.
I tried using Access to open your whole e-mail, but it wouldn't. Then I tried copying
just the contents of the cemetery & MI file itself, minus your message, and pasting it
into Access, but no go there, either.
I'm sure I'm misunderstanding your directions. Can you or anyone else give me a
tip about what I need to open the database? I'll happily install another reader or
dbase program if necessary.
I REALLY appreciate your sending it and can just hear my relatives calling out to me (in
Welsh, of course) "Come and find us -- you're almost here"!
:-) Judith
P.S. I got five separate 751K e-mails from you just minutes apart and can't tell if
they're different sections of the same database or simply duplicates. Can you please
clarify? Sorry to be such a dunce, and here I thought I was a pretty decent techie....

Hello Judith,
I have attached the Calvary MI's for Brynmawr plus the Powell and Newman
burials at Brynmawr Municipal Cemetery.
I will not interfere with your enjoyment, so you can enter the findings
into a database of your choice (Brynmawr cemetery) and sort the queries
in Access, etc. to find out the grave/section that your families are in.
Best regards
Barrie Jones, Gwent
