On my Attica Ordnance Survey atlas it's at SO156069 just off the A 4048 to
the south of Rhymney and close by a village called Troearhiwgwair. How on
earth you say it I can't imagine!
My Grandfather, who SKS has just found for me was born at Bedwellty in
1861. Presumably his Father worked in the pits along the valley road.
The Attica CD is a useful tool for searchers, I don't have any connection
but I won mine as a prize from a computer mag and it's invaluable. I have
seen them in Office equipment shops here in the UK but that's not much good
to overseas listers. I could try scanning the specific location map and
sending it as a JPEG or GIF image, how about that Watergardener? Contact me
direct if you want to know more or if you want to try the attachment.
