Yes, Have already tried that, no luck i'm afraid, so as they were a very
poor family, they wouldn't have been able to afford headstones.
So I'm not sure how to go on from here, I understand Welsh burial registers
tend to be a bit few and far between, especially the non conformist ones.
How does one go about it if you have no idea whatsoever where they are
buried. Is it a case of trying to find registers for any graveyard in the
area and then discounting them one by one ? (groan)
Any help or suggestions on this would be appreciated.

Have you tried the Gwent FHS? They will send you a printout of all
MIs for the name you are researching, including a ref for the
cemetary. For an uncommon name like BULLEN it will only cost you
1GBP. (Of course this doesn't work if there were no gravestones
recorded).
