Hello everyone,
I'm back again after a short break off the list.
I need a little help with my Wicox family, please. The only information I have on them
(for now at least) is from the 1881 census that follows;
52 Waterfall Row, Bedwellty, Monmouth, Wales.
Simon WILCOX, head, coal miner, W, 35, born Radstock, Somerset, England.
John WILCOX, son, scholar, U, 11, born Ebbw Vale, Monmouth, England.
Mary WILCOX, daur, scholar, U, 8, born Ebbw Vale, Monmouth, England.
SKS looked for them at the above address on the 1891 census, but they had moved, but where
to, I dont know, but they did stay in EBBW VALE that much I do know. Also Simon married
a second time, (after 1881 census was taken), family tell me there may have been twins
born in his second marraige and the name for one of them was SAMMY.
So, will SKS do another look up on the 1891 census for me please?
A look up by SKS in the 1871 census will find Simon in Ebbw Vale with his first wife and
their son John born 1870, any offer's?
Thank you all for your attention. I have the 1881 census to help with look ups.
Luck in your search's
Angela.
