Pleased that Judith and family enjoyed their stay at Brynmawr and
district. It comes as no surprise that their stay was made more
pleasurable by the likes of Vivienne Williams and Norman Griffiths.
As well as Officers of the Museum at Brynmawr both are same at Brynmawr
Historical society and Norman is Vice Chairman of Ebbw Vale branch of
Gwent Family History Society. As Marianne Harvey's (this list) Welsh
mother used to say:- " "if ever you need help, ask a busy person"
It is a shame that Calvary Baptist have not deposited their registers at
either Powys or Gwent Archives where the records will be kept in a good
state of repair for others to view. The archives would give the chapel a
bound photocopy of the registers to keep at the premises as well.
The MI of Calvary Baptist was transcribed in 1992 by Gwent FHS but no
plan of the graveyard is shown on the fiche at that time.
Try searching the National Library of Wales website:-

By entering 'Brynmawr' in one of the collections I came up with:-
1828 - 1902
Deeds relating to property in Beaufort Street, Bailey Street, and
Worcester Street, and elsewhere in Brynmawr in the parishes of Llanelly
and Llangattock.
Lots mote 'hits' there, check up the collections by using the 'find' in
the Edit menu. Marriage bonds, Wills and lots more.
Enjoy!
best regards
