I am hoping to get to Monmouthshire in the early spring. I have the guide
books/accommodation brochures for Wales and Wye Valley and the Vale of Usk
but I haven't a clue about which town/village is close to Tredegar - which I
think is where the censuses etc. are kept.
Is it out of order if I ask if anyone can tell me which if these places is
good for a base when looking in Tredegar also Bedwellty, Aberystruth,
Blaina and Trevethin.
Abergavenny; Caldicot; Chepstow; Raglan; Crickhowell; Monmouth &
Newport;
Or, anyone know a good B & B which isn't in the book but would serve me as
well. I am disabled but can walk a little and climb stairs - given time-
and I shall have my scooter in the boot.
Apologies to the list owner if I've exceeded my welcome!
