If it`s not too much of a job would you share the info.you refer to that
people on this list have sent to you as I`ll be going to that part of Wales
within a couple of years. A review would be nice of what you found & what
was best or worst when you get home.

Thanks to all of you for the replies on accommodation in Monmouthshire.
I will check them all out and look at the websites.
I have never been to your part of the world. Swansea once to play the
gentleman's game and mid & north Wales for holiday with my family.
My Mam had been to Blaina and had friends in Ebbw Vale (her Dad came from
Bedwellty) but she was born, & lived most of her early life, in
Nottingham.
1945/46 saw me learning to be a sailor in HMS Glendower AKA Butlins.
Went "Ashore" to find the fleshpots of Pwhelli twice but it was too much
for
me! I was 17 at the time.
