Spare us all the gratuitous American bashing. We expect that from French
lists. Can't we get a break from our Welsh cousins?

Hi All,
This sort of thing amazes, there is us lot that have been researching
our ancestors for decades, along with, no doubt many others throughout the
world, most can only get back to the early 1800s, some can even get back
with dedicated research to the early 1600s, then we have the Americans who
are nearly all descended from William the Conqueror !
I noticed a mail on a Rootsweb List the other week about an American woman
who has only *been researching for twelve odd months*, and has already
taken her line back to the earlt 1100s !
What I would love to do is find out which research medium they all use so
as I can also get my family back to these dates in such a short amount of
time !
Oh what bliss, what the hell would I do with all this spare time that I
would have left after completing my family tree!
Regards to one and all, Mick McAllister
