Dear Boyd
I don't know whether or not you have Jacob WEBB in 1851. This looks like him

Subject: [Bla'Gwent] Where is Llanover
In the 1881 British Census my GG grandfather Jacob WEBB (iron worker)
lived
in Llanover, Monmouth, Wales, Dwelling 24 North ST. Jacob Webb also
had a
lodger, Thomas Timothy, his wife and two young children. The Timothy
family
born in Blaenavon, Monmouth, England (Wales?). Jacob Webb born in
Broughtongifford, Wiltshire, England. In Oct 4. 1827. Source: FHL Film
1342261, PRO Ref RG11, Piece 5238, Folio 48, page 10.
My grandmother, Mary Ann Webb, was born in Blaenavon, Monmouth on April 12
1879 to Jerimiah (Jerry) Issac Webb (son of above Jacob Webb) and Naomi
Morgan, m April 23 1877, in Abergavenny, Monmouth County. Naomi b April
1786 in Blaenavon, Monmouthshire. Think Naomi had a brother named James.
Is "Llanover" part of or near Blaenavon? Is "shire" same as
"county"?
Is anyone researching my families or has information about them?
