I may have misheard, as the gentleman who told me the story is elderly and
has a strong welsh accent.
Is there anyone who knows the story of the Batt family who lived in the cave
near Aberystwyth, Devils Bridge.
Pat

I have been told by an aquaintence in Wales that there is a cave by

someone shed some light on this local story ?

Hi Pat,
Are you sure you're not confusing Aberystruth (Monmouthshire) with
Aberystwyth (Cardiganshire).
There's a famous beauty spot known as Devil's Bridge 10 miles upstream
from Aberystwyth, in the Vale of Rheidol.
I'm not familiar with the story about a cave-dwelling Batt family, but
I'm sure there were cave-dwelling bats there! :o)
Kind regards,
John
