That's OK, but wouldn't know about the builder/architect of Pisgah and
Bethel. I think they probably copied from each other. I suspect that the
chapels are all very similar, and this has probably more to do with those
members of the churches who commissioned the building, who chose what the
chapels looked like. There is another Baptist chapel on the siblings page,
Pentre, Rhondda's Shiloh Chapel which is also gone.
Bethel Welsh Wesleyan Chapel is a Methodist Chapel isn't it? Pisgah is a
Baptist Chapel, but there is no reason why the Welsh Methodists could tell
their builders they want a chapel like the Pisgah. The Pisgah was opened in
1828, and still stands, and a Sunday School was added in 1909, and the roof
was changed in the early 1930s. Women helped carry the stone up the hill
from the Afon Ffrwd(river).
