Anne,
I am interested in MORGAN, VAUGHAN, and BEVAN. My MORGAN family
are the children of Richard MORGAN and Margaret BEVAN married in
1833 in Trevethin. Margaret BEVAN MORGAN is the daughter of
Thomas and Mary BEVAN. Delphine's GG Grandmother, Leah BEVAN,
is the sister of my GG Grandmother, Margaret BEVAN MORGAN. We
have found that some of the CHILTON family, another of Thomas &
Mary BEVAN's daughter married a CHILTON, went to New Zealand.
That is who Delphine is directing you to.
I know that William J. MORGAN and his sister Jane MORGAN DAVID
came to the USA. Also, there may have been a John MORGAN as
well.
Mary Charlotte BEVAN married a Thomas VAUGHAN in the late 1850's
and that family came to the US sometime between 1864 and 1870.
It is interesting that you have both MORGAN and PURNELL and I
have MORGAN while the New Zealand member has PURNELL. Of course
it could be a coincidence.
